Football Season Begins

Well the 2012-2013 Football Season started the first weekend in September. We all have high hopes for a great season for all of our teams. I was at Legion Field supporting the UAB Blazers as they played against the Troy Trojans. Mack’s entire family was with me at the game supporting the Blazers. We have been super excited about this new season with Coach Garrick McGee as the Head Coach.  You can see the unity in the team and in the coaching staff. This team has a lot of potential for this season. During the game the Blazers fought hard, but in the end it just wasn’t enough. The blazers ended up losing 29-39. It was a tough loss but I was so proud of our boys!  That night we cooked out hamburgers on the grill with the family and watched Auburn. This day would turn out to be a big disappointment because the final score of the game was Auburn 19 and Clemson 26. The following week UAB had their off weekend and Auburn played away at Mississippi State. Mack and I went to Huntsville for the weekend to do some things for the wedding and  we watched the Auburn game on TV. Auburn ended up loosing the game. It was another disappointment, but you never give up on your team. You stick with them through the good times and the bad. Unfortunately right now this would be considered the bad.
