Wedding Planning

Well after the engagement, Mack and I hit the ground running on some wedding plans. We set our date for June 22, 2012 in Huntsville, Alabama. We will be getting married at the Whitesburg Baptist Church Wedding Chapel. We had a hard time finding a reception place. It was amazing to me how many things were already booked for the entire month of June and it was just a year away. I guess a lot of people have the same idea of getting things booked early! We finally came across the Huntsville Country Club and we are thrilled. They have been a huge help.  We started off getting those two major things done within the first couple of weeks.  I asked my “Big Sis” Hayley Powell to direct the wedding and to also do the flowers. I cannot even tell you how much it means to me to have her play such a big part in our wedding.  If you need someone to help you direct a wedding, plan things out, and do your flowers, then you definitely need to get in touch with this girl because she knows what she is doing.  So far Mack and I have marked off the following things on our list: cakes, flowers, wedding dress, the  tuxes, the bridesmaids’ dresses, honeymoon reservations, registry, and of course a photographer (it’s nice to have photographers in the family ). I have to say we feel like we have gotten a lot done.  I probably left something out, but no worries I have it all written down. I have tried to be Miss. Organized!!! More wedding planning to come!!!! :)
